Sponsor a Pup

Would you like to help the rescue but you can’t adopt a dog? No worries, you can sponsor one of our dogs! What does Sponsor a Pup mean? You can make a one time or reoccurring donation to help cover the costs of the dogs who have extra need before they can be adopted. A lot of dogs who come into rescues are less than desirable dogs. They may have medical needs, training needs, or have simply been overlooked for adoption for a very long time. With your Sponsorship we are able to get them the resources they require while they wait for their fur-ever homes.

Meet Arrow

Arrow was returned by his previous adopter because they introduced two small dogs to their household that Arrow didn’t get along with. The previous adopter also mentioned that breed restrictions in housing were a contributing factor. Arrow used to live with and adore a sibling before the new dogs arrived. With a proper introduction, Arrow might thrive in a home that has a similarly sized female dog. We would love for Arrow to find a nurturing, loving home. Arrow possesses a strong prey drive and is full of energy. Despite being a lap dog, Arrow doesn’t realize his own size and strength. He tends to be wary of new individuals, making a household with few visitors and no children the ideal environment for him. Arrow is a loving and energetic dog who is responsive to training. With regular sessions with our trainer, Arrow has made great progress. Having been with us for some time, he may need additional time to adjust to a new environment. Arrow is house-trained, vaccinated, and neutered. A suitable owner for Arrow should have experience with large, strong dogs.

Meet Eli

Lab Mix Age: 4/19/2021 (3 Years Old) Weight: 40lbs

Eli is a charming, affectionate, and lively boy who adores playing with toys, especially squeaky ones. He has a tendency to guard his valuable items. Eli is currently under the guidance of our trainer to address this behavior, which will require ongoing attention in his new home. Regrettably, Eli has one reported bite due to inadequate training by his previous adopter. Since this incident, Eli has undergone substantial training with our trainer and is working hard on his manners. Eli would thrive in a home that can provide him with an active lifestyle. He is best suited for a household without children and as the only dog. Eli is vaccinated, neutered, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. While he can socialize with other dogs after a proper introduction, caution is needed due to his guarding behavior. When unsupervised, it’s recommended to separate him.
